How fast do you ship my order?
We ship within 5 business days after we have received your order. Usually, we ship within three business days.

What is the size of the products?
The size of the products are displayed on the product pages for most products. Some of the products do not have this information. The easiest way to determine the size is to contact us. An alternative way is to check the method below:

Take the size of the actual/real object and devide this by the scale. For example, a brick of 30cm in length in scale 1:24. For example a brick that is 30cm long is 1.25cm long in scale 1:24 (30cm/24=1,25cm).

How do these scales work?
Juweela products are categorized by scale. This scale determines the size of the product in relation to the original. If scale 1:12 is mentioned, then each 12 cm in the real world is 1 cm in the miniature world. To determine the length you devide the total length of the original with the scale.

As an example, we take the 30cm long brick. This translates to the following sizes and scales:

1:12 = 2,5cm

1:24 = 1,2cm

1:32 = 0.9cm

1:50 = 0,6cm

1:72 = 0,4cm

1:87 = 0,3cm

1:120 = 0,25cm

1:160 = 0,18cm

Especially the scale over 1:100 are very small. Please do take this into account as we frequently hear that the bricks are perceived as very small, although the scales and size are correct.

I don't know which scale I need / I cannot find any reference to the scale I need. What should I do to find the right Juweela scale?
The first method to determine the right scale is to measure or lookup the size of the original. Then compare that by measuring the miniature you have (devide the size of the original by the size of the miniature). This will give you the scale and with that you can order the right Juweela products.

In some cases you will find a reference of the scale on the minature itself or the packing of the miniature that is differently categorized as Juweela products.. You will find this quite often in modeltrains for example (you have H0, but not scale 1:87, even though it's almost the same). In the table underneath this text, you can find a few alternative indications to scales and the Juweela scale that goes with it.

When building a project yourself without any references to scales or without scaled objects being used, please create building instructions with sizes. This will help you determine the right scale. This is much tougher to do in comparisson to using scaled objects.

One final advice: if you are indoubt of two scales and you do not know which one to pick (eg. 1:72 and 1:87),, pick the lowest scale (so scale 1:72). The reason is that we get loads of remarks that the building block are rather small, especially in the higher scales (1:72 and higher), even thought eh sizes do match the scales/originals.

If you need help selecting the right scale, then please contact us.

What are the base materials Juweela products are made off?
Juweela products are mostly made out of ceramic materials and other natural materials. That means they can be easily processed (sawed, cut, painted, etc.) Some products are made out of plastic because the original is made of plastic as well or simply because no other material is available to make the products. With the majority of products, we've included the materials and sizes of the products.

Where are Juweela products made?
The majority of products are made in China. But, unlike many of it's competitors, the products are fully developed in Germany. A clear recipe with materials and sizes and a precise quality control system have resulted in the products as we know them now: realistic and sustainable.
